Ski trip to Kranjska Gora

Last month, some of the BIS Secondary students went with their teachers on a ski trip to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Kranjska Gora is an alpine resort in north western Slovenia, near the mountains and glacial lakes of Triglav National Park. The students stayed at the Ramada Hotel which was approximately 100 m from the ski slopes right in the centre of Kranjska Gora next to the main promenade.
The students got up early every day and headed to the slopes. They improved the quality of their skiing a great deal and they were very lucky to have such excellent weather for the time of year. They had great fun skiing, walking and enjoying the hotel swimming pool. The students had an amazing time and would like to recommended the February skiing trip to their friends next year.
We look forward to organising similar trips in the future.

Skiing in Kranjska Gora

During the Spring half-term holiday many BIS students enjoyed a skiing trip to Slovenia. The destination was the ‘Špik’ Alpine Resort just outside Kranjska Gora.

In the beautiful natural environment our students, escorted by BIS staff, enjoyed the area, the hotel and most of all the abundance of snow, allowing them to ski each and every day.

They agreed that their week there was too short; and all wished they could have stayed longer at this great resort.
